Commence the simulation by pressing the Run Simulation button in
the main program toolbar. After a few moments the parametric output
window is displayed (Fig. 2). This window may at
first be minimized; restore it to its normal size in that case. A
parametric output window is launched for each specified output. Observe
how different M-H loops are traced out as a function of field direction
during the simulation. Right clicking on any of the plot windows brings
up floating menus that can be used to further work with the plotted
data. The surface plot generated by the simulation is displayed in the Parametric
plot box. Bring up the floating menu of this box and select the menu
item Show Cut. A cutting plane of the surface appears in the box
and a two-dimensional plot of the cut data points is displayed in the Cut
trace box. Change the orientation of the cutting plane by selecting
any of the options X-Y, Y-Z or X-Z in the frame
below the Parametric plot box. Use the slider to vary the
position of the cutting plane or enter a value in the box to the right
of the slider.
