This is one of two tabs into which the MagJob user interface is organized. The Monitoring tab allows monitoring of the progress of submitted background jobs. Background jobs can be submitted in batch under the Batch job specs tab. The queued (currently-running and pending) jobs are listed in the Queued jobs box (the first item in this list is the currently-running job). The recently-completed jobs are listed in the Completed jobs box. The selection Queued or Completed in the Selected job properties frame enables the display of information about the selected item of the appropriate list. These are the jobs process identification (PID), Time queued, Time started, Time completed and its Job folder (directory of the design file).

Pressing Kill job button deletes a selected queued job. Checking the Auto refresh box, causes the automatic update of job lists whenever new changes (job addition/deletions, job completions) occur. Un-checking this box allows list updates to be acquired manually by pressing the Refresh button.

Magsimus regularly saves the current states of running background jobs to their source files at the end of a pre-determined number of equilibrium solution states. This pre-determined number is 1 by default. The final state of a simulation that terminates normally is saved to file by Magsimus. The frame Control actions provides the means for controlling certain aspects of a running background job after its Apply button is pressed:

Send terminate signal. Checking this box instructs Magsimus to terminate the job after it has written its next equilibrium solution state.

Data write threshold. This value sets the number of equilibrium solution states before a write to external file.
