This is one of two tabs into which the MagJob user interface is organized. The Batch job specs tab is used to specify and run a sequence of Magsimus background simulations, a feature that is convenient for after-hours’ unattended running of long simulations. You typically complete the designs separately. You then collate them and submit them for background execution. Jobs are executed in the order they are submitted. The list of Magsimus files that are to be executed are listed under this tab in its large box. These files are submitted for execution by clicking the Submit button (note that batch jobs will run only for a valid Magsimus license). The box to the left of the Submit button displays the complete file path of a file entry selected in the box above. The collection of files constitutes a batch-job definition. Right-clicking the batch-job list displays a short-cut menu for adding and deleting Magsimus design files. Batch-job definitions are saved to batch files with file extensions .mbat. Batch files are loaded or saved using the File menu. The progress of submitted jobs can be followed under the Monitoring tab.
